Qantas has opened a new Emergency Procedures Training Centre at its Mascot campus, marking a significant investment in airline safety training in Australia.

Inside the New Qantas Sydney Training Centre

The 6,300-square-metre Qantas Sydney training centre will provide safety and emergency training for more than 10,000 Qantas, Jetstar and QantasLink pilots and cabin crew each year. The facility includes replica aircraft cabins, virtual reality training equipment, emergency slides, life rafts and classrooms.

The new facility reflects Qantas Group’s continued investment in aviation safety and workforce development. It is also a noteworthy development for Australia’s aviation and corporate travel industry, supporting the airline’s future operations and growing fleet.
