Qantas has revealed new Business Class cabin designs for its international Airbus A321XLR aircraft and upcoming Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, offering upgraded comfort, privacy and technology for premium travellers.
New Qantas A321XLR Business Class
The international and transcontinental Qantas A321XLR Business Class cabin will introduce lie-flat seating on a Qantas narrow-body aircraft. Sixteen internationally configured A321XLRs are expected to begin arriving from 2028.
The cabin will feature a 1-1 seating layout, giving every Business Class passenger direct aisle access. The new suites are also expected to include privacy doors, 19-inch entertainment screens, wireless and USB-C charging, onboard Wi-Fi and convenient personal storage.
Upgraded Boeing 787 Business Suites
Qantas’ new Boeing 787-9 aircraft will feature 42 Business Suites. Planned improvements include sliding privacy doors, 80-inch lie-flat beds, additional space around the footwell, 19-inch entertainment screens and redesigned personal storage.
The updated Qantas Business Class cabins are designed to improve comfort across long-haul, transcontinental and selected international services. For corporate travellers, features such as direct aisle access, lie-flat beds, charging facilities and greater privacy may provide a more practical environment for resting and working during longer journeys.
