Melbourne Airport will introduce major changes to its pick-up and drop-off arrangements for Terminals 1, 2 and 3 from 6 October 2026.
The new Melbourne Airport pick-up and drop-off zones will operate from the T123 Transport Hub, changing how travellers, drivers and corporate transport providers access the terminals.

New T123 Transport Hub
The new free drop-off zone will be located on Level 3 of the T123 Transport Hub, providing more space than the current departures ramp.
A free undercover pick-up zone will operate on Level 2, with more than 100 vehicle spaces and a sheltered waiting area close to passenger facilities.
What drivers need to know
From 6 October, drivers collecting or dropping off passengers for any airline will need to leave the Tullamarine Freeway earlier at Exit 19 for Naarm Way. The elevated roadway will then provide access to all terminals.
- The changes apply to Terminals 1, 2 and 3.
- Airport parking access will remain unchanged.
- The 60 Minute Free Wait Zone off Mercer Drive will remain available.
- Drivers and travellers should allow additional time while becoming familiar with the new route.
