What stood out to me most was his story about walking onto Centre Court at Wimbledon for the first time. He spoke openly about how overwhelming the moment was, how the occasion almost made him forget the game plan, and the valuable lesson to learn: don’t become consumed by your opponent or the occasion and focus on your own game, trust your preparation and simply give your very best.

A powerful reminder that applies just as much in business and in life as it does in professional sport.

A very big thank you to the amazing MH team for the kind invitation and warm hospitality; from the stunning cocktail gathering on deck with unbeatable views of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge, to the generous prizes and engaging conversations throughout the night.

It was a such a great pleasure meeting Dersenish Aresandiran (CCO MH Group), Syazwan Ahmad Sabri (HGS MH Group), PK (Regional Manager ANZ), and Wayne Borland (HCS, Western Region) and the whole MH regional and national teams. The passion and vision shared last night including the exciting news of reaching 74 flights to Australia by end of this year truly reflect the airline’s commitment to growth and excellence.

Loved the creative touch of the evening’s theme, highlighting the two signature colours: blue for Malaysia Airlines and orange for Firefly. It was also fantastic to reconnect with many industry friends and colleagues in such an Elite setting.
