However, a few must-see’s are the Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve where you can see the famous kangaroos and wallabies that inhabit this country. The Cockington Green Garden is a perplexing little place that offers a collection of miniature iconic places from around the world such a mini replica of Borobudur. Lastly, to get a nice dose of history before you leave Canberra, visit the National Museum of Australia where you can see special exhibitions, learn about the history of the Aboriginal people, and see ancient artifacts and intriguing present day items on displays.
